American Bass is renowned for competition products, and offers a complete line of top-quality speakers and amplifiers. All of their speakers feature a woven fiber woofer with butyl surround and a ferro-fluid cooled aimable tweeter.

StereoMan can still obtain speakers by Polk Audio at very competitive prices, but encourages you to consider the American Bass as an alternative in the same price range, but with better features and spec’s, and comparable sound.

* A few cars are slightly higher due to cost of special trim kit or wire harness. StereoMan will always let you know in advance if there is any additional cost. A few cars don’t require a trim kit, and in that case StereoMan will charge you less!

With a basic charge of $36 per hour, StereoMan offers repair and installation services at very competitive rates. If you need on site work done on your vehicle, StereoMan will come to your location with tools and equipment in hand for a mere $10 for the first 5 miles (covers most of Asheville proper), $2.00 for each additional mile.

StereoMan can install your new car stereo head unit, speakers, or amplifier, or repair your old one. He can procure the equipment you need at very competitive prices, including the all-important “fit” kit and wiring harness. Basic car stereo installation generally runs $30-$36. Door speakers usually cost $30 per pair to install. Cost varies by year and model of car. All car stereo installations are by appointment only. While you wait, you can take a stroll around the lovely Montford neighborhood, enjoy a Caribbean meal at Nine Mile around the corner or home style cooking at Tod’s Tasties, two blocks down Montford Ave.
